How come so many ‘tolerant’ people have no tolerance for the intolerant? I mean, if you tout that it’s your right to think and be exactly what you choose without consequence or ridicule, is it not hypocritical to deny the same right of a racist, bigot, sexist, or homophobic person to be exactly the way they choose as well – as long as they don’t act out of those beliefs in such a way to cause specific and direct harm to someone?
