AMERICA IS PRAISE ALL OVER THE WORLD FOR THEIR ACTION REGARDING GLOBAL ECONOMICAL, SOCIAL, AND POLITICAL AFFAIRS. WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT FOR AMERICAN TO ACCEPT, WELCOME , AND ABSORVE FOREIGNERS INTO THEIR NEW SOCIETY? IS IT BECAUSE THE WORLD DOES NOT REALLY KNOW WHO THEY ARE PRAISING OR ARE AMERICAN BLUFFING AND TAKING CREDITS FOR WHAT THE DO NOT DESERVE? BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR TEN YEARS AND A US CITIZEN AND PEOPLE STILL ASK ME WHERE I’M FROM. IF I TELL THEM MY HOME CITY AND STATE, THEY SAY ‘NO ORIGINALLY WHERE ARE YOU FROM’. IT MAKE ME WONDER IF I WAS INVITED HERE BUT NOT WELCOME.

I would suggest that you are misunderstanding the intent of the question the majority of the time. I have many acquaintances that are from other countries. I always ask where they are from and it eventually evolves into a learning experience, not to mention a lot of laughs. Maybe this is exclusive to women?
