Angela is very right. White people have wanted to be black since the beginning of time. They either want to be black or want somebody who is black. That is why female slaves were raped. We have never been appreciated for anything. When we show our creativity like the band-aids or wearing something a different way than it was made to be worn, we are immediately questioned. Like when Serena wore the infamous ‘cat suit’ to her tennis match, she was on the news all around the world for her ‘provocative dress.’ Had it been a white person, it would have been the latest and hottest Nike gear. White people just need to face the fact that Black people are beautiful people with beautiful minds whether we are wearing band-aids and sagging or sporting the latest Prada.
