not towards me, personally. there’s also grafitti at my busstop that says, ‘gringos — no, gringas — si’. beyond that, the theme i see repeated over and over again here is that racial epithets are, alternatively, playfull pet-names when directed at whites, and vitriolic hate that requires massive systemic social change when coming from whites.
