I’m a counselor, and have dealt with abused women, homosexual couples, etc. Many women don’t want to go to the police, so be it. I would recommend a shelter, but if that, too, is uncomfortable, go to a local counselor (if you are in college, go to the counselor center on campus). One of the counselors there can give you options and help you make decisions THAT ARE BEST AND COMFORTABLE FOR YOU. We are great a being discreet (I swear) and have dealt with these situations before. Go to an expert, a therapist or counselor, or someone you trust. There’s always a way, it’s just finding the right solution. I suggest you go as soon as you feel you can safely sneak away for a couple hours. SAFELY. Please keep us informed… I wish you the best of luck.
