The people that feel they are owed reparations for slavery forget that far more whites died in the civil war to free the slaves than ever owned any slaves or participated in the slavery trade. Any debt owed to blacks from the white race was paid in blood. My grandfather did not die but he left his home and family and fought for 4 years for this reason.
