What I’ve learned is that the lost sheep of Israel is everybody. In the Old Testament, Israel was split into two halves. The top half consisted of 10 1/2 of the tribes of Israel, the bottom of the other 1 1/2. The top half disappeared sometime in the Middle Ages, probably by the Normands and others who invaded the area. These groups have never been heard from again. It is believed that they have been ‘scattered’ or that their blood is mixed with everyone else’s, and that everyone has a trace of the blood from the 12 tribes of Israel.
