The Holy Quran asks Muslim Women to cover so that men do not become perverted making obscene comments about women. It asks them to cover so that a man can be loyal to his wife (this is when a woman covers her body) and so that men can respect them and not look at them as sex objects. Even though hair does not cause sexual arousement, it does make a woman look more appealing. Men are not reqired to wear beards as one reponsder said. It is preferable to have a beard; it is not obligatory. In Islam bothmen and woman are required to dress modestly so that society can function normally. If men and women dont do so, then people will be cheating on their spouses and not caring about their offspring. Rehan Khan
