Yes it still does exist in India. Sad but true ! Very prevalent in rural india. But it is not that prevalent in the metropolitan cities, although it does exist at a very subtle level. How does one deal with it ? One doesn’t. Almost everyone accepts it, turns a blind eye and continues with life.
