when i told my husband about this site and what you could ask,,,that was the first question he asked…whats with the grape and orange soda?,,,he works in a very black neighborhood and noticed that the flavored sodas have a prominent place in the convenience store, while the colas are kept mostly in the back cooler. I also work in a restaurant in a very well to do hotel, with people of all classes as guests. we dont carry the flavored sodas, but the next drink of choice is lemonade. very seldom do blacks ask for a coke. i dont know what the reason is, but its a good question…perhaps its a regional thing…
