[Veda]

The terminology that society uses to describe people of color has evolved. My parents have first hand experience with being referred to as ‘colored’ (which is offensive) to ‘minorities’ (which soon will not be the case in terms of numbers). I believe the term is used in an effort to be ‘politically correct’ and ‘sensitive’.
