I have often heard this statement made as well when referring to black men, especially in America where I am from. From experience I will tell you that this is widely overblown, but this is no different than other stereotypes that exist for other kinds of women and men, for that matter. I for one, cannot attest to dating any ‘submissive’ white women though or date them for this reason.
