I think everyone feels like this… that it is getting worse every day. The Michael Moore documentary deals with this exact question in Bowling for Columbine. He wonders if it is the history of America, the gun control issues, violent video games… what is causing it all? The answers he comes across are rather suprising, and made me feel a bit silly for all of those times I have nervously looked over my shoulder!
