SupervisorParticipantI frequently hire for mid-level technical positions. 95% of my applicants are males. Honestly, I would have to say that I give more weight to a male applicant given everything else is equal with a female applicant. 1. I prefer working with males. 2. Women require different management techniques and are, in general, too emotional. 3. I also feel that men are more reliable employees, they take fewer sick days, have fewer child care issues and don’t get pregnant.
