We have inherited most of our culture from elsewhere, so there may be many sources of the ‘blondes/more fun,’ idea. Maybe, in Italy, blondes, who came from the north, or the more nordic countries, were considered stupid or dumb, and all they know how to do was have fun, because they weren’t smart enough to do much of anything else.? Maybe this transfered to America, via books films and radio.? Maybe, in an old movie, before sound, a blonde character was very ditzie and pretty and fun, and Hollywood just carried the idea through-out the industry. Maybe a woman of olive skin and dark hair was jilted by a lover/or lovers, for the new girl in town, who happened to be blonde… said she was a dumb slut and it just went from there… Depending on the subject, it is hard to trace these kind of ideas start, but, like most things, it is untruthful and started from an generalities
