I prefer bald. The less impediment to, and distraction from, the, ahem, matter at hand, the better. Plus, you can make the act of shaving a shared, sensuous pleasure. It’s a simple mechanical consideration: in men, the equipment sticks out beyond the hair; in women, it hides behind it. So get rid of the barrier. There are only two objections I hear to the practice. The first is that it’s too much trouble. Is it too much trouble to shave your legs (or, for men, face)? The second is that it makes the woman look like a little girl. Trust me, the difference between a little girl and a woman is far more than a handful of curly hairs; men who keep clean-shaven (which is to say, the vast majority) could be said to look like little boys – but I don’t think anyone would make that mistake, either. And anyway, do you like touching and kissing the face of a man who’s clean-shaven, or one with a bunch of hairs poking you? Same goes for women’s pubic hair.
