Some of us are taught by our fathers that disobeying and mistreating our significant others is to be desired. Then it’s reinforced in our peer groups, where romantic men are considered whipped and weak. Basically we, like women, are basically selfish beings who look out for ourselves and our fun first. Women are less likely to do so though because of a fear of losing her man and a natural need for comfort. But I know many a female that has no problem in engaging in the above activities either. Perhaps more power grabbed by women means they will force men to respect them more by increasing their options.
