Scott E.ParticipantAs someone in recovery from addiction, I still have that problem of remembering people from time to time. I feel it happens to everyone, regardless of who they are and what they do. Sometimes the addicted person is also embarrassed by people who have helped them and acts as if they don’t know them to avoid uncomfortability. Even though you may have helped someone, expecting them to be overjoyed the next time they see you is not always the case.
