There is an old Islamic adage I heard once, ‘all paths lead to Allah.’ Religion is really a method for achieving a spiritual relationship with the divine, a way to replicate the experience of the original (Jesus, Buddha, etc.). I don’t think these are the only ways to get there, but if it works, use it.
