While it is the ‘norm’ to get married and have children (I’ve heard it is one way to overcome our mortality), there are many vocations and goals to which one can devote oneself that are unselfish. Unfortunately, some people have difficulty keeping their nose out of other people’s business. Even if one is misunderstood, singles and childless couples have the potential to serve humanity working in soup kitchens, literacy programs, friendships and in countless numbers of ways, not having to worry about where junior is.
