Unfortunately it is. It is set in my mind, that when something happens, I have to give it some thought. I work in the schools, and I’ve had several students make racial remarks to me. (elementary kids) Recently I had lunch with a collegue who is Caucasian. When the hostess sent us to a table in a seperate dining room, in the back that was closed, he got a taste of what we complain about everyday. There are times when ‘racism’ is used inappropriately, but it still exists.
