Your answer would make sense had I asked why tall women prefer tall men. But that wasn’t the question. In my experience, short men are no more likely than tall men to try to prove themselves. When a tall man demonstrates a feat of strength, people think it’s great; when a short man does so, he is accused of trying to prove something. In fact, both men are trying to prove something.
