Italian families don’t look down on dating other races. They just believe in the perpetuation of their culture, which isn’t wrong. Jewish and black and American Indian families have been known to behave in the same manner. It’s just a desire to want to be with your own kind. It’s easier to relate to the inlaws that way. That’s really all it is. I’m an Italian-American, and my parents have told me I’m free to marry whomever I want. Subsequently my first girlfriend was a mulatto, and guess what the white side was? Italian. Also, there are many Italian men who really dig black women. Robert De Niro exclusively dates black women, and I’ve always had a thing for Toni Braxton. Once again, as I’ve seen with this whole web site, everyone is making vast generalizations.
