I too had sex as a child, never with an adult but with children who were approximately my age. We played doctor as very young children (beginning at 4 or 5 or so), but things became more ‘serious’ (real sex) around 11 or 12. And no, I don’t think it did any harm. Once I was in high school and began dating, the sex stopped (so much for ‘raging hormones’). It seems ironic that I had a very active sex life prepubescently, which was then put on hold until I was in college.
