It seems that there is some misunderstanding as to how a wash cloth is used (at least how I use them). I have read several replies that people think that a washcloth is left in the shower/bath, to be used again, possibly by someone else. I can see how that would be perceived as gross! When I use a wash cloth, it gets used once, them laundered. That’s how my whole family does it. The result is a stack on 30-40 wash cloths in the linen closet. Certainly I can and have showered without one. But I definitely prefer to use one. How else can you scrub your back?
