Since no one has responded to this yet, I will post a short one. The real question about the ‘Passion’ should be whether or not it is anti-Christian. In any event, I consider the portrayal of Judaism and Jews in the film to definitely be anti-Judaic which in turn is the main reason for anti-semitism. With more conviction than in a Passion Play I saw recently in Arkansas, the film condemns an entire religion for being unethical, shortsighted, responsible for killing Jesus, and evil. Other than that it was the most tasteless splatter film I’ve ever seen.
