    I have no experience with colonic irrigation but have read numerous medical articles that point out that irrigating the colon is not only unnecessary but potentially dangerous. The lower intestine sloughs dead cells every day, so unless you have diverticulosis, nothing is going to get trapped in the colon. Also, irrigation can cause the colon to rupture. In my opinion, I’d stay away from it.
