Most rap stars do not smile because some of them lived the ghetto life. There are drugs, crime, robberies, junkies, etc. Also, thinking about these terrible things leaves a bad taste in our mouths. The thought of rap stars smiling on an album cover just doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t look right, and they probably wouldn’t make enough money.
