NMParticipantHere on the private courses women do not play golf slower than men. Especially those in organized leagues. On public courses they are more likely to play slower than men because of their lower skill levels and the fact that many of them hit a shorter ball. I think more men learn golf when they are youths, so you don’t see slow adult men out there as much as slow adult women, more of whom may be beginners. Yet many women on public courses do play as fast as men. On our private courses we have rangers who keep us moving if we are playing slow, be it men or women.
