Oh puh-leeez. Sure there are boring, uncultured idiots here, just as there are boring, uncultured idiots in New England, the South, the Northwest, California, and even good old New York. I lived in NYC for a while, and encountered the same idiots, dummies, and bigots there as I have in my hometown, only they had a different accent. Sure the shopping was better there, and the general attitude more liberal (which to me isn’t a bad thing), but this did not make me think that my own city was comprised of boorish yokels in comparison.
