    Of course it is possible. Background has more to do with compatibility than color of skin. This is something that you discover in life. I ran into a lot of problems when I was in my dating years and dating black women. I did not think like they did. I didn’t grow up in the ghetto and I wasn’t from a working class neighborhood. My dad is a former fighter pilot turned lawyer, and my mother a county executive. They’ve never been married to anyone but each other. There weren’t many white women that I had things in common with. American women from my social background regardless of race, are interested in white men. I ended up marrying a woman with the same social background as myself, and a nice Christian background. But she was born and raised in europe. Although we are considered of different races, we have had a long wonderful marraige. The only person in either one of our families who didn’t approve of our marriage was her grandfather. He lived in europe so I never had to deal with the man. And he died anyway. Sometimes it is good that our life spans are only so long.
