You say you are an engineer. In your schooling, how many biology courses have you taken? And even if you are an expert in biology, to escape making the ‘appeal to authority’ fallacy, you would still have to explain to a satisfying degree how you came to your conclusion that a butterfly’s metamorphosis could not have come from evolution.
