Matt22035ParticipantFirst, it is not completely agreed that homosexuality is condemned in the Bible. Also, if it is, it is in the old part, which reflects the opinions and values of that time. How could you dare question whether a person is accepted by God? As for a person calling themself Christian: Christianity means something different to every person. I am atheist, and I know this might sound ridiculous, but I can almost understand Christian people better than they themselves. For the most part, Christians are loving and accepting and do not make sweeping judgments. To say that a person is not a ‘real’ Christian is ridiculous. You live with sin every single day … are you not an abomination? Do you deserve the title of Christian? One last thing: gay people do not choose who they like and who they don’t. It is a part of who they are. You basically say that homosexual people choose to be separate from God because they like people of the same gender. What if I told you that because you breathe you are not a true Christian? In fact, that because you blink and move that you should be cast from God’s view?
