I’ve noticed it too and don’t think it’s someone on an invisible cell. It seems to more often be older black people and more like a running commentary on something than an actual conversation. Like in a store being near an old lady shopping alone, talking about how cute a blouse might look on her grandchild? If I was black would I perceive that she’s talking to me?
