Well I am a young black female and I wash my hands quite frequently, to the point that they are often dry and ashy. That’s why I always keep a small tube of lotion handy in my purse. I was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD)while I was in middle school. Thus the reason for excessive handwashing. With that being said I couldn’t imagine using the ‘john’ and not washing my hands. So to Ms. S.F., you can throw those two stereotypes out of the window because I am black and I am a native ‘East-Coaster; a native Floridian at that. It isn’t a race or a geographic factor, it is a hygienic issue and good old home training.
