I am reading your question and stare in wonderment. Your day goes nowhere. You seem rather intelligent, but are you in the throes of depression? There are all kinds of things you can do. All kinds of organizations would love to have you help them. Be a mentor to a kid who doesn’t know how to use the computer. Volunteer at a hospital. Big a Big Brother. Show how you can cope with your epilepsy and still not only give to yourself but to others in dealing with this awful illness. The whole world is waiting, and you are just sitting around and not using your talents. Everyone has something valuable to contibute. You do, too. I’m 49, and I’ll be darned if I sit around and do nothing. There is a cool quote from the movie ‘Auntie Mame’: “As close as I can … Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving!”

I am deaf, and it sure doesn’t stop me. No, it’s not as harsh as what you deal with. I acknowledge that. But the world awaits your wisdom. Give of yourself and you’ll find a much richer life than you have.
