Why does everyone expect all who are married to give birth? Why is the message that unless we are like rabbits who reproduce like mad, we are less? Before you get any ideas that I have no children, think again. I have two. But my little sister chose to have none. Does this make her and her hubby something less than they are? What would you rather have, a child who is welcomed or a child who is denied, abused and not loved? If you desire kids, great. If you don’t, there should be an attitude of “OK, so ya don’t. It doesn’t mean you are lacking. It means you are smart in what you want in life.” And the worst thing you can do is have a child because you are lonely and want to live your life through them. Like that’s going to fix your past?
