Okay, well first, let me say this. We don’t technically believe in a heaven and a hell, or rather, we don’t believe in hell. You can look up what I’m about to talk about in any Book of Mormon, in D&C (Doctrine and Covenants) 76:50-98. Rather than a hell, we believe in three kingdoms. The first is the Celestial, where the strongest (in faith, not in body) and most worthy are bound to dwell. The second is the Terrestrial, a little different. This is where those who do not recieve our gospel in this life, but are taught in the next, go. Third is the Telestial. This is where the murderers and evil men (and women) go. It’s not necessarily a hell, because they are ministered to by angels. What we do believe in that -might- be considered a hell is Outer Darkness. But those who go here are of a different class altogether. They have a perfect knowledge of Christ and the Father and then -deny- it. They are called the sons of perdition. ‘They are they who are the sons of perdition, of whom I say that it had been better for them never to have been born;’ Our beliefs don’t dictate two singular places, because there are different levels of goodness, faith, and many other important principles. Anyway, I hope this answers your question. I was a little dissapointed that the Religion option did not offer me a true religion I could choose; the name ‘mormons’, is just a nickname, and not at all what we like to be called. Now, be aware, I may have messed up somewhere here. I reccomend talking to an actual Latter Day Saints church official. I’m only sixteen, and know what I have been taught, but there is always more.
