L MarchMemberI am only 15 years younger than my boyfriend, so it’s not the full generation difference you’re describing, but he does have a daughter only a few years younger than I am. From that viewpoint, I’d just like to say that the only way you’ll find out if the relationship is serious and equal is to keep talking to both of them. In my situation, she seems to have prejudged me and consistently avoids us both, though in fairness they weren’t that close to begin with. My main point is, individuals vary a lot. They may be well matched or they may not be, but the only way to find out is through them. I can understand why you’re upset, and I wouldn’t say it’s unjust, but if you let that feeling damage your relationship, then that I would call unjust, to all of you.

L MarchMemberI also work customer service over the phone and talk to many people from all over the country, and I really haven’t found that Southerners talk faster – they often talk slower, but not always that, either. Often it depends on exactly where they are calling from – if they’re calling on their own, they are more likely to be slower-talking and more accented than if they are calling for a school or business, for instance. Older folks seem to speak more slowly, too, though that may be due to hearing loss sometimes.

L MarchMemberI don’t know if there’s a specific religion called Goddess Worship, but you may be thinking of Wicca, which is a nature oriented religion that worships both a male and female deity – the Lord and Lady, or God and Goddess, or other similar names. I’m not Wiccan but my boyfriend and several friends are. Some worship together in rituals, some worship alone, but the main focuses are the cycles of nature, and depending on the person they may focus on the Lady more or less than the Lord. There’s not a physical church, but often some outdoors site (or sometimes an indoor one) is commonly used for rites, and is usually cleansed and consecrated at the beginning of a ritual. Lots of information can be found on the web, in bookstores, or in libraries. Hope this helps!

L MarchMemberI suppose the homosexuals who consider it a disease or a sin (and some do, I don’t know how many) would probably welcome it. Those who don’t probably wouldn’t. I’m curious how this ties into bisexuality – as a bisexual woman, do I have some genetic influence on that? It doesn’t run in my family, but I might not know. I’d be most worried, I think, that if a genetic marker is definitively identified that abortions would be made on fetuses that had it!
