Well, you cover a child's face in summer because of the sun and flying insects. You usually use a lightweight blanket. In the winter you cover the child's face because of the cold, rain, snow, etc.

I believe it's because of the oils that we put in our hair. Some Africans in Africa get lice.

I'm not really sure how it works but I think teachers have to give a list of students who should go into the AP classes. The student can request Not to take those classes. I had AP english. I wanted out but my teacher said no. I begged my parents to come to the school. Of course they didn't agree. Well, the first report card I got an F the next a B then an A and so on. I did learn that I could really study and learn if I wanted to. Th

I'm not saying that you are lying but I have NEVER seen a child be it black or white 'quietly request something.' Especially after the second time. Usually b4 the child even gets out of the car the parent tells the kid 'Don't ask for anything, we're only getting such and such and I don't have any money.' That's how it was for my brother and I. Now that I'm an adult I realize it was because my mom was embarrassed that she didn't have the money to get us the things we wanted. Not because she was embarrassed because we were 'acting' bad.

I was in line at a store and this young guy was in back of me on his cell phone talking about last nights date. He was speaking so rudly about the girl and basically about women, I turned around and looked him straight in the eye until he hung up the phone. I usually don't do that kind of thing but he was just so crude and rude. I just couldn't take it anymore. He wasn't being loud but it was loud enough for the people standing around him to hear.

If you are still seeing people who cover their furniture in 1999; well I don't know really what to say. I don't know anybody that would cover their furniture past the year 1980.
