The LDS Church, more commonly known as the Mormons, has a very distinct view of Heaven, and Hell. We believe that as tought in the New Testament and the Book of Mormon that there are three degrees of Glory in heave, the Terestial, Telestial, and Celestial. Listed in order of magnitude, Celestial being the highest degree of Glory and the home of our Heavenly Father. We believe that for the most part, all human beings will achieve at least the Terestrial level. There is a concept of Hell that the LDS faith terms Outer Darkness. This would probably come the closest to Hell. In reality, it is the absence of the presence of our Heavenly Father. There is much more to know about the LDS concept of Heaven and Hell. I would suggest contacting your local LDS church and asking for more information from the local Missionaries.
