You are way off the mark here. Most Arabs can’t help admiring Americans and their simple, easygoing way. Although Arabs are more comfortable (historically) with Europe, the United States is now of prime interest to them. What Arabs hate is the United States’ foreign policy, mostly her attitude toward the Arab-Israeli conflict, where the United States is seen as a supporter of Israel all the way, regardless of who’s right or wrong. This issue really ticks Arabs. Arabs are also becoming more aware of the racist stereotypical view many Americans have of them (especially views spread by Hollywood), so some may hate Americans as a reaction to perceived American hate directed at their race.
