Drawing a parallel between men giving up being the sexual aggressor and women giving up being housewives is an apples-and-oranges comparison. First, whatever it is that drives men to be the sexual aggressor was around long before women thought about being housewives. Second, it exists in cultures where women may not ordinarily be housewives. Third, it is also found in species other than humans, where the concept of “housewife” doesn’t even exist. All of which is not to say that men (or some men, at least) might not be interested in sharing the role from time to time!
