As for the stereos, when they are louder and more intense it feels more like you are hearing the band live, like the band is playing in your back seat. As for exahuast, depending if you are working a tuner or a hot rod you can gain as much as 15 to 20 hp at the rear wheels. As for being age-related most car shows I go to the older people have louder exhausts than I do and they have it to show off and have fun so I do not think it is an age-related thing.
