Jessica30657ParticipantI agree. It seems there are only top 10 pop songs on the radio, or oldies. It gets tiring to hear the same 10 or 20 songs over and over. Unfortunately, most teenagers listen to only one or two of their favorite pop bands, and never broaden their horizons. But lots of teens listen to rap, and quite a few listen to rock, punk (my personal favorite) and ska. I don’t know anybody who listens to ’70s music regularly, but I’m sure there are plenty of teens who do.
Today’s teens often label people based on what music they listen to, so what bands a teenager likes says a lot about him or her. Today, there’s a ton of room for diverse tastes.
