Jennifer30894ParticipantAs a black American, I don’t like to be called African American because I don’t identify with African people. When it comes down to it, black people in America are very different from Africans. ‘African American’ is a Caucasian way of saying black. It’s just like ‘colored’ or ‘negro’ – something to label black people.
