It is theorized that the reason behind a woman’s materialism is much the same as that of other creatures. The woman’s job is to have young and take care of them. Female animals always choose the strongest male. This helps ensure that their babies are strong and healthy, that the male will be able to protect them all, and also that the male is able to provide for them. Men are the ‘hunters’. So one major part of their job is to bring the female stuff. Hence the ‘materialism’. You may want to note that not all women are materialistic, and if the woman you’re with wants the material things more then the rest of you, she’s obviously not right for you.
