For most freshman Goths (as well as others), it’s simply finding a group of like-minded people. Generally things are better for Goths at a larger school, where the likelihood of meeting other Goths is higher. Things might be harder at a smaller school, where there would be fewer Goths and less understanding from people who aren’t used to the lifestyle.
