Jeanine31151ParticipantGephry, can the readers assume someone other than the taxpayer is paying to support the two (or more) of you? A husband or partner, perhaps? If there is someone else involved, I don’t see why it is a problem to anyone else except for their own over-inflated ego. On the other hand, if a parent chooses to stay at home at the taxpayers’ expense, I can understand the flack. Why should I have to work two jobs (career and parenting) in order to pay taxes to allow someone else to “choose” to be a stay-at-home parent?
