No offense intended, but your question is derived from ignorance about what a so-called Hispanic is suppose to look like. The media, politicians and big business coined this label to control people in many ways including the white population. The Hispanic or Latino label does not denote a race. Puerto Rican people for the most part are a mixture of three races. Starting with the white race of Spain along with the mixture of Native peoples of the Island and finally with the African slaves brought over by the Spanish whites. This is why Puerto Ricans are a peculiar breed; they have three races in their blood line and therefore the variety of which you speak. The term ‘Hispanic’ means very little to an educated individual. I hope you think of this next time you hear ‘Hispanic’ or ‘Latino.’ Of course, as I said earlier, no offense of any kind is intended toward you at all. I understand that nowadays accurate information is hard to come by, especially if the government and business has the key to that information.
